Training

Keep your workers safe and your projects running smoothly by skilling-up your employees and operating teams. We have expert, certified trainers available to instruct our customers on the operation of aerial lifts, telehandlers, and industrial forklifts.

Our training services meet applicable ANSI and OSHA requirements. Classes are offered exclusively to Stevenson customers and are not offered as corporate training or for the general public.

The following steps are your ticket to being certified:

  • Step 1: Pick Your Class – Select the training you require. To learn more about each session, click on the tabs below.
  • Step 2: Register – Using the ticketing area below the class descriptions, register for an upcoming training session.
  • Step 3: Classroom Instruction – Join us at our location for the interactive instruction portion of the training process.
  • Step 4: Hands-On Training – Once you’ve completed the classroom training, you’ll received hands-on training at our facility actually operating the machinery. You will be guided by one of our certified trainers.

INDUSTRIAL FORKLIFT OPERATION & SAFETY CERTIFICATION

The safe use of industrial forklifts requires operator training. Our licensed trainers will help you and your team to have the required instruction and practicum needed for the proper operation of these machines. With a combination of video, classroom work, and hands-on experience, participants will walk away from our training with a full understanding of how to safely operate and be around industrial forklifts. We will include topics on roles and responsibilities (OSHA standards), workplace hazards, equipment inspection / operation, and more.

Each participant works towards receiving certification in the operation of industrial forklifts. We have a minimum class size of eight participants.

FEES:

  • Single participant: $160 each

AERIAL LIFT OPERATION & SAFETY QUALIFICATION

We know you are committed to safety on your project. Safety is our number one priority as well, and our certified trainers will help you and your team to have the required training needed for the proper operation of aerial lifts. With a combination of video, classroom work, and hands-on experience, participants will walk away from our training with a full understanding of how to safely operate and be around aerial lifts. We will include topics on roles and responsibilities (ANSI standards), workplace hazards, equipment inspection / operation, and more.

Each participant works towards receiving a certificate of completion and a card with endorsements for the operation of specific types of aerial lifts including boom lifts (towable and self-propelled), scissor lifts (slab and rough terrain), vertical mast lifts, and manually propelled lifts. We have a minimum class size of eight participants.

FEES:

  • Single participant: $250 each
  • Groups of four or more: $200 each

TELEHANDLER OPERATION & SAFETY CERTIFICATION

The safe operation of a telescoping material handler requires training. Our licensed professional trainers will furnish you and/or your team the training required for the proper operation of telehandlers. With a combination of video, classroom work, and hands-on experience, participants will walk away from our training with a full understanding of how to safely operate and be around rough terrain forklifts. We will include topics on roles and responsibilities (OSHA standards), workplace hazards, equipment inspection / operation, and more.

Each participant works towards receiving a certificate in the safe operation of a telehandler. We have a minimum class size of eight participants.

FEES:

  • Single participant at our location: $250 each
  • Groups of four or more: $200 each
